Abstract	Water Licence Information is a spatial index of points representing the location of the offtake points for water allocations granted under the Water Management Act 1999. Attributes for the Water Licence Information layer include the Water Licence Number, the name of the water Licence Holder, and a unique Allocation ID. The Period Amount for the allocation represents the volume of water in Megalitres that may be taken between the Allocation Start Date and the Allocation End Date and the purpose for which the water may be used. The Surety Level represents the access priority of the allocation with Surety level 1 having the highest priority and Surety level 8 the lowest. Allocation Status is recorded along with the Name of the Water Resource from which the allocation may be taken. The Offtake ID is the identifier for the offtake where the allocation is taken and these have Offtake Easting and an Offtake Northing which use GDA 94. The records also note whether or not there is a Financial interest recorded against the water allocation
