The ShellMAP Water Quality Sample Sites dataset depicts locations where water sampling is conducted by or on behalf of the Shellfish Market Access Program Regulatory Services. These sites are used to test water quality within or in near proximity to shellfish harvest areas in Tasmania. The dataset includes both actively sampled sites and inactive sites. The LIST ShellMAP Water Quality Sample Sites dataset is provided for convenience of reference only.

This record is dependent on the classification status of ShellMAP Harvest Areas and is therefore subject to change. Data is correct at the time of publication. The dataset was updated in October 2022 to add extra sampling sites and change the status of others from inactive to active.
