Tasmanian Heritage Register – Boundaries
* Note this dataset is currently in test mode and is for internal HT use only *
This dataset represents boundaries for places that are provisionally or permanently registered on the Tasmanian Heritage Register. Boundaries consist of two types; those that align to cadastral boundaries and those where a boundary is defined by a plan lodged in the Central Plan Register.
…
Attribute Accuracy:
It is estimated that ~80% of all location attributes are correct. Heritage Tasmania is conducting an ongoing program to increase accuracy levels.
Logical Consistency:
Boundaries are closed polygons and are topologically correct. Where a cadastral parcel is referenced as a boundary, the boundary has been created from LIST Boundary Segments and therefore align with LIST Cadastral Parcels. Where a CPR is defined the boundary is as accurate as the plan lodged in the Central Plan Register.
Completeness:
The layer is complete for ~10% of entries in the Tasmanian Heritage Register. Boundaries have been created for places in Burnie, Flinders Island, George Town, Kentish, King Island, Meander Valley, Southern Midlands, Tasman, Waratah-Wynyard and West Coast Councils. Heritage Tasmania will progressing the other LGAs throughout the 2016-17 financial year. |
