TASMAP 1:250 000 Images have been generated from the latest Edition 5 2014 edition of the TASMAP 1:250 000 map series which have been georeferenced and mosaiced into a state-wide ECW file.

Tiff images were created from the printed TASMAP 1:250,000 series. The files are geotiffs georeferenced to MGA94, Zone 55 and have been mosaiced into a single ECW file. Images are current as to the date of printing of the map and the information for each map can be obtained from the TASMAP 1:250 000 Map Index dataset.

Position Accuracy: Horizontal Accuracy : +- 100m well defined detail. Attribute Accuracy: N/A Logical Consistency: All data is checked both visually and by automated means. Completeness: LIST 1:250 000 Images are available for all of Tasmania. Currency of the map tiles will vary according to the printed date of the map they have been derived from.
