Threatened flora data derived from the Natural Values Atlas consisting primarily of point locations (Eastings and Northings) and associated attributes for threatened flora in Tasmania. The NVA maintains species taxonomy and provides access to management documents such as listing statements and recovery plans. Additional attribute information is also stored within the NVA, including species values for conservation significance as well as project specific data.

The data has been compiled from a wide variety of surveys, specialist knowledge, reports and other existing sources with varying degrees of accuracy.

Position Accuracy: The overall spatial accuracy of the data depends, in part, upon the accuracy with which the original data was collected/recorded. All points have been allocated an accuracy attribute indicating the location precision in metres. The distance indicated by the accuracy attribute implies that the actual sighting occurred within the specified distance from the point. Datum?Projection: MGA 94 UTM Zone 55.
