Data Pricing and Access
How can I get the data?
The data is currently deliverable through three channels:
Public access or subscription services through The LIST web interface;
Purchasing digital data tailored to the client's requirements; and
Capacity for on-line, real time access to LIST data in the support of 'off-site' applications.

CD ROM, DVD or Email
LIST spatial data tailored to the client's specifications is also available in most formats by email or on CD-ROM or DVD. The data is made available under licence. Please refer to the Price Guide for an indication of costs. For further information on licence terms and conditions please contact LIST Data Sales.
On-line Access
LIST data is also available on-line to assist with the development of 'off site' applications by clients that use LIST data as the core background for their business applications. For example:
Mineral Resources Tasmania is using LIST data in the development of a system titled the 'Tasmanian Information in Geoscience and Exploration Resources' (TIGER). This application will provide mining companies with easier access to Tasmania's geoscientific information. The application will use core LIST Data as the backdrop and overlay this with industry specific information from Mineral Resources Tasmania (MRT). The TIGER web site will seamlessly display data from The LIST and MRT to the web client.
This type of facility is also available, under licence, to government and non-government organisations. For further information on licence terms and conditions please contact LIST Data Sales.
Public Access
The LIST (www.thelist.tas.gov.au) can be publicly accessed at Service Tasmania Shops, State Libraries or at Community Online Access Centres. The LIST can also be accessed from your organisation's personal computer or your home computer.
