Abstract
Sites that may be precisely reoccupied (to within a few millimetres) by a gravity meter, for the purpose of tying gravity surveys to an absolute gravity datum. Precise location is facilitated by site photographs and sketches and descriptions in addition to coordinates; most of the latter are not sufficiently accurate on their own. Absolute gravity values at each station are for at least one of the following datums: Isogal65, Isogal84, Australian Absolute Gravity Datum 2007 (AAGD07). The stations have been established either by absolute gravimetry or multiple repeat loop measurements with respect to other base stations.

Lineage Statement
See AGSO Record 2000/15, Murray 1997 (AGSO Journal of Australian Geology and Geophysics, 17(1), 145-155) and BMR Report 261 in addition to references linked to individual stations. Includes contributions from government, university and private sector. Migrated from paper to Oracle database in MRTÃÃâÃÃs TIGER system.
Lineage Description
Positional Accuracy: ÃÃÃñ50 metres or better. Photos/sketches provide centimetre accuracy for re-occupying. Attribute Accuracy: 0.1 milligal or better Logical Consistency: All station locations have been visually verified with respect to topographic maps. Gravity values are consistent with observed gravity in surrounding area. Completeness: Covers most regions of Tasmania. At least one absolute gravity datum value is recorded for each station. Field checking of stations is only performed irregularly, some may no longer physically exist due to redevelopment. Those known to have been destroyed or otherwise rendered inaccessible are attributed as such.
