New LIST Topographic Basemap

We have just released a new version of our topographic basemap.

Earlier this year TASMAP asked users of the new BETA LIST topographic basemap to comment on their preferences between the existing and proposed new version of the basemap.

From analysing these comments, recommendations as to how best tailor the new basemap were compiled. These will ensure the basemap will continue to be the best product cartographically for LIST user’s requirements and demands now and into the future.

These recommendations have been investigated and were implemented last night.

The topographic beta basemap from which it is derived will be removed in the next few weeks.

Please Note: If you are having difficulties viewing the new topo basemap (ie the get a blend of new and old images) then you will need to clear out your browser caches.  This should clear itself up over the next week or so as it does this automatically.
